Pink Angels Fundraiser Raises $6,000 for Treasure Chest Charity

Treasure Chest Chairperson Paige Quartermain recently attended the Pink Angels fundraiser event — a heartfelt gathering dedicated to supporting women affected by breast cancer. Organised by the incredible Liza Cagorski, the event was a huge success, raising an impressive $6,000 for Treasure Chest Charity.

These funds will go directly toward The BRA Program — Breast Reconstruction Awareness — a one-of-a-kind initiative in Melbourne, and the only one of its kind in Australia. At Treasure Chest, we believe that knowledge is power. That’s why our BRA Program meetings, held every eight weeks, are so vital.

These gatherings provide women considering breast reconstruction with crucial information, emotional support, and the opportunity to connect with peers who have walked the same path. Each session is a safe and supportive space where participants can speak openly with volunteers and others who have experienced breast reconstruction, helping them make informed and empowered decisions about their care.

This program simply wouldn’t exist without the generosity of people like you — and incredible fundraisers like the Pink Angels event.

We’d like to extend our most resounding thank you to Liza Cagorski and the team at Shots Creative Studio for the work behind such a meaningful and impactful event.

Here’s what Liza had to say to attendees:

“I am beyond grateful and excited to share that, thanks to your incredible generosity and support, we have raised $6,000 from the Pink Angels Breast Cancer fundraiser! Your kindness and commitment to this important cause will have a lasting impact on those affected by breast cancer, helping to fund vital research, provide support services, and make a real difference in the fight against this disease.

I look forward to donating the $6,000 to Treasure Chest Charity that funds Breast Reconstruction Awareness meetings at the Royal Women's Hospital.

Each donation, no matter the size, has contributed to this amazing achievement, and I am so thankful for your involvement. Whether you spread the word, made a donation, volunteered your time, or supported me in any other way, your efforts have been truly appreciated.

Together, we are one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Thank you once again for your generosity, compassion, and unwavering support.”

Thanks again to everyone who helped make this event such a success. Your support truly changes lives.
